The Main Branch of the New York Public Library is one of my most favorite places in this city. I really miss going inside the special reading room and having access to the thousands of books in their archives. When I was in Grad school assisting professors with their research on writing their own novels I was able to have access to books Mark Twain, Willa Cather and other great writers borrowed in the course of writing their works of art.
What privilege! What joy!

The most beautiful library entrance in the world. Bar none.
