I saw this very Wifi kiosk in operation and was grateful to be able to charge my phone long enough to send a text to my son letting him know I had a work emergency and he would have to make dinner for himself. Still, as a geek, I had some security concerns as I plugged-in. Once the testing phase ends for this project I guess we will know more about the security protocols they have in place. But in the meantime, the Kiosk on 14th St & 3rd Ave works like a charm! Thank you Mayor Bloomberg for conceiving this project even though de Blasio is taking all the credit for it.
