Logic and reasonable explanations have no place when you're this close to the ocean and your 5 years old.
The proof of how much fun he had was discovered when he got home, he had a ton of sand in his pockets, shoes & briefs.
As I tucked him in bed he said to me "Mom, I just love summer... I want it to be summer forever." I thought to myself, Yes, I wish it would be summer forever too.
